Welcome
As our name implies, we look to provide the tools necessary to improve the lives of children and their families, through science, technology and the arts.
After wanting to get more involved in improving the lives of others, it was the visit to Honduras in June 2009 that empowered me to work harder at achieving that goal and thus PA2STA (pronounced PASTA) was created.
As part of my trip to Honduras, I brought with me two laptops for the school children to test out. Ultimately, my plan included returning home and beginning to work on a fundraising effort to generate funds to get laptops to each child.
But then I began thinking, laptops to one group of children is nice, but there is so much each of us has to offer and the original plan seemed easy to accomplish. A bigger, bolder plan utilizing all of our skills could bring so much more to so many more people.
Therefore PA2STA was born as a grassroots organization dedicated to reaching out to other like-minded individuals who are willing to share their skills, education, knowledge, drive and desire to help improve the lives of people anywhere in the world.
